J.GIO TRAINING.

All programs are run by Jessy and her staff. The sessions consist of skills training, ball control and speed and confidence with the ball. We train girls from some of the top clubs in NJ, as well as girls at the Rec level. All sessions are rostered by birth year and level. Our sessions are very motivating and fun but also very challenging.

J.GIO WINTER SKILLS TRAINING: Winter Training runs for 9 weeks. The facility we currently use is a gym floor which is perfect for ball control and fast paced soccer. The winter sessions max out at 20 girls due to the current gym size. In every session we do some type of speed training with equipment such as ladders, jumps, rings ect… As well as ball control and speed with the ball. We do skills patterns and skills races that the girls love and benefit tremendously from.

J.GIO SPRING SKILLS TRAINING: Spring Training run for 8-9 weeks. We are outside on the field weather permitted. Spring training is similar to Fall training. We do a lot of speed training such as hill sprints, tire flips, ladder, jumps and more. We also do a lot of skills training and shooting. Power and accuracy on the shot and skills to shots. Every session is a great workout and every session the girls get faster and more confident with the ball.

J.GIO SUMMER CLINIC: We have so much fun running the summer clinics. We do weekly morning clinics 9-12 Mon- Thur. The clinic consists of stations throughout the day of skills patterns, skills races, speed training, hill sprints with and without the ball, small sided games ect. Summer is a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun. We bring all of our players and trainers together for 3 hours of training. The girls get so much out of summer training and its such an amazing dynamic bringing all the age groups together. We also do a lot of prizes in the summer to really make it fun and memorable for the girls. We do tournaments with trophies. We do standout players of the day with prizes. We do Player of the week, stickers and prizes everyday. We also run contests such as Juggling contest, Shooting contests, Fastest player, Best team cheer, Best team Handshake, ect). We take a short break for lunch but the day is non stop training !

J.GIO FALL SKILLS TRAINING: Fall training runs for 12 weeks. Fall is the only Season that we do two sessions. Session 1 (6 weeks) is outside on the field Sept/Oct. We do a lot of speed training using tires, ladders, hill sprints ect. The sessions consist of skills, speed, shooting and small sided games. We have an MLS size goal with targets to work on power and accuracy. We also do some fun stuff to celebrate Halloween week which the girls love. We do Timed Skills Through the Graveyard with prizes and more. Session 2 (6 weeks) is inside the gym Nov/Dec. Once we move inside the gym it is a great change off pace for the girls. We still do speed drills but the training on a gym floor is very fast paced and technical. We do skills patterns with the timers, wall sit contests, skills races ect.

J.GIO BOOTCAMP: Bootcamp runs every Spring and Summer. It is for girls of all ages and athleticism. Bootcamp is FITNESS ONLY, it is all speed and strength training and the girls benefit so much from it wether you play a sport or not. Bootcamp is a way to destress, break a good sweat, learn team building and become stronger and more confident. With positive reinforcement bootcamp consists of speed and agility drills, as well as strength, balance and coordination training. We use equipment such as box jumps, ladder, ropes, medicine balls, weights and more !

All girls in our program receive a custom Onyx sticker after they complete a season as a reward for their hard work. The sticker changes every season for the girls to collect. We also do custom J.GIO MVP pins for one player in each session that we give out at the end of the season as well. Not necessarily the most skilled but a player that stood out to us as a motivating teammate, a positive attitude and extremely hard working. The girls also win different themed stickers throughout every session as a way to reward, motivate and build confidence.
